In 2014, Theta participated in the prestigious ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers), successfully completing the Atlantic crossing from Las Palmas to Saint Lucia. After cruising extensively throughout the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, she eventually returned safely to her home waters in Bodrum.
This voyage is more than just an impressive route; it is proof that Theta is not simply capable of offshore passagemaking—she has already demonstrated it in the most demanding conditions.
Her ARC certificate, proudly displayed in the saloon, remains a lasting reminder of that remarkable journey.
Over the years, Theta has continued to benefit from the same careful ownership and ongoing investment.
The entire teak deck was professionally renewed in 2023, followed by a complete replacement of the standing rigging in 2024. During the 2026 season, the engine, generator and all safety equipment received their scheduled maintenance, while the yacht’s mechanical and electrical systems have continued to be serviced and maintained to a high standard.
Theta’s interior layout has also been designed with extended cruising in mind. In addition to the spacious aft owner’s cabin, the forward accommodation offers exceptional flexibility. It can be configured either as a generous owner’s cabin or, with a simple conversion, as two separate single cabins to port and starboard, making the yacht equally suitable for family cruising, accommodating guests, or extended offshore passages.
With approximately 2,369 engine hours, only 426 generator hours, a 100 L/h watermaker, AIS Class A, a complete Raymarine navigation suite, a 2023 UK Sails furling mainsail, and a comprehensive inventory for offshore cruising, Theta remains exceptionally well equipped for long-distance sailing.
